Bolton
Currently in the Premier League, Bolton Wanderers Football Club is a very professional club from England based out in Horwich, in the Borough of Bolton in North West of England. Being the Founder members of the Football League, Bolton FC had been a very successful side in 1920s, winning the FA cup as many as 3 times and then 4th time in 1958. Bolton Football Club participated in the European Cup competition in 2005 for the first time by reaching amongst the last 32 in the UEFA cup. Bolton Football Club also qualified for the 200708 tournament by coming 7th in the 2006-07 Premier League. In 1997, Bolton Football Club moved to the Reebok Stadium and their former play home was the Burnden Park.
In 1874, the Club was founded as Christ Church FC, but in 1877, it changed its name to Bolton Wanderers. Being one of the 18 founder members of the Football League, Bolton FC has stayed in the Football League since its foundation. Also, Boston Football Club has stayed in the top leagues like Premier Leagues and Old First Division more often than not. Bolton FC, under the management of Rioch reached the Premiership in 1995 by a victory against Reading in the Division One playoff final. Since 1990, Reebok has been sponsoring the Kits and jerseys for the team.
Recently, on 20th February, 2007, Bolton Football Club became the first club in the Premier League to declare a price reduction on their season tickets by 10% for their forthcoming campaign for the season 2007-08. Other Football clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City had announced their reduction in Price for the tickets but Bolton was the first club to officially claim and do so. Bolton Football Club’s home kits and jerseys colors are white shirts with navy trim with white shorts and socks. The club’s away kit colors are black with turquoise trim. The traditional colors of Bolton Football Club have been white shorts with navy blue shorts. The club had also experimented with an all white kit during the 1970s. Bolton Football Club’s badge contains the initials of the club in the shape of a ball with Red and Blue Ribbons below it.
